The executive conversation roomOnline sessions for senior leaders in Copenhagen

In English · online · confidential

Many people around you. Few to speak freely with.

If you are a director, partner or founder in Copenhagen, you may know the particular quiet of the top: the decisions are yours, and the people you might share them with are often the people they concern. This page explains how online sessions with an authorised psychologist work.

This site describes online sessions with the psychologist Frank for leaders in the capital region. The sessions are offered by djursland-psykologen.dk.

Language and format

English, online first

Sessions can be held in English, both online and in Mørke, the village on Djursland where the clinic is located. For leaders in Copenhagen, online is the natural main track. You join by video from a place where you can speak without being overheard, and you avoid crossing the city on an evening that is already full.

The rhythm is a fixed weekly evening slot, and you meet the same psychologist throughout. Capacity is limited and there is usually a waiting list, so no start date can be promised. You sign up through the main site, and signing up carries no obligation.

The theme

Loneliness at the top

Roles change relationships. Colleagues become staff, and everything you say can be read as a direction. Many leaders learn to sort their thoughts before speaking, which is sensible in the role but leaves doubt, frustration and fatigue unspoken.

The sessions are a place where you do not have to manage how you are perceived. The psychologist has no stake in your company, and everything is covered by his duty of confidentiality. You can think aloud, also about what is not yet thought through.

  • Questions that fit neither the boardroom nor the dinner table.
  • Responsibility for decisions that land on other people.
  • A sense of being competent outwardly and distant from yourself inwardly.
  • Where your life is heading beyond the next quarter.

Typical clients are executives, partners, founders and international professionals. You do not need a crisis, and you do not need a finished explanation.

Questions

Briefly answered

Can the sessions be held in English?

Yes, both online and in Mørke. The main site, where you sign up, is in Danish.

Is anything reported to my GP or my employer?

No. Your GP, the municipality, your partner and your workplace are not notified. The sessions are private, require no referral and are covered by the psychologist's duty of confidentiality.

Can my company pay?

Yes. Many clients have the invoice paid by their company or employer, and you are of course free to pay yourself. Prices are published on the main site.

How soon can I begin?

Capacity is limited and there is usually a waiting list, so no start date can be promised. Signing up carries no obligation.

Need help now? There is a waiting list, so this is not a route to urgent help. Contact your GP, the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten, 1813) or call 112.
